SEA ACCOUNTS IS STILL BREEDING!!!
SEA ACCOUNTS IS STILL BREEDING!! I don’t get on COTH much anymore and received a PM on his FB page about this thread.
Cyriz is 18 this year and going strong. He didn’t compete last year due to things going on in my life. The plan for this year is for him to carry my old behind around at Novice and the goal is the Novice 3-day in Aug. at CHP!! Doesn’t sound like a bit deal, except that he and I went to my first show in 27 yrs. last fall and finished 3rd at BN after jumping a handful of times!
My website is out of date, but he has a Facebook page with over 17k followers! The link is www.facebook.com/SeaAccounts
He is approved AHS, HV, ATA, GOV, RPSI and ARS. He is listed with JC, AQHA, APHA, APtHA, PHR, AHA, ISHNA (I think that’s the right initials for Irish Sporthorses, lol), Connemara and I’m looking into AWS at a mare owner’s request.
He competed at the CIC** level in eventing (multiple top 5 finishes at Int and multiple wins at Prelim) and through Fourth level test three (63%) in dressage. We planned to do Advanced and PSG, but one trainer relocated and then I had some health issues that used the show budget.
While Coconut Grove was the first TB stallion approved by AHS, Cyriz was the first North American-bred TB approved! He was also the first TB stallion approved by ATA in the 14 years prior to his approval.
Interestingly, he and Sea Lion are related. And another relative show GP dressage with Sylvia Martin (I’m blanking on his name…also Sea something).
Cyriz is well known for crossing with a wide variety of mares and his stellar temperament. And he very consistently passes that temperament and work ethic on. Almost all of his offspring are owned and shown by ammys and kids. He has a few who have done Prelim thus far, multiple H/J champions up to 3’6" hunters and 1.3 m jumpers, a couple foxhunters and many lower level packer types.
His stud fee is $1500 with discounts available for early payment, premium mares, etc. and fresh and frozen is available. He will be in a few of the stallion auctions this spring.
2017 will be his largest foal crop to date and there are already more mares booked to him for this year than last! I am hoping that I get a stallion prospect or two out of my personal crop this year. I seem to get a lot more fillies than colts, but I put a special request in to a few of my favorite mares, so we’ll see if they cooperate!
Since I don’t post here much anymore, the website or facebook are the best ways to reach me.
Happy breeding!!
