TB's I Have Known - [FB PAGE STARTED w/ Database!!! - update on 1st post]

Since I’m too lazy to go back and find what I posted before (probably a year back)

Horses currently at our farm:

 • Bar V Cu Chulainn (Bull) ~ 1986 Ch H. Hot Secret - Advocator Queen by Effervescing) [have met his breeder and keep in touch with her]
 • SA Girl ~ 2003 B m. Dantesque - Preying Dancer by Noble Dancer
 • Sa Comon Sugar ~ 1998 B m. Zuppardo’s Prospect - Hombre Rose by Pandan [met her dam’s breeder, same breeder from Bull]
 • Proper Sandi ~ 1998 Ch m. Proper Reality - Bundle Up Baby by Image of Greatness
 • Toe Tappen ~ 1989 B m. Lyphard’s Wish - Lost My Reality by In Reality

Horses We Have Had / Have Known

 • SA Ivan ~ 2005 B g. Dantesque - SA Comon Sugar (keep in touch with his current owner)

 • SA Wrench ~ 2005 B g. Dantesque - Preying Dancer (keep in touch occassionaly with the gal we sold him to, he has been resold since)

 • Dash My Princess ~ 1997 B m. Dash O Reality - Princess Chez by Prince Khal-ran

 • Sister S. ~ 1983 B m. Policeman - Barbisata by Crimson Satan (really enjoyed working with this mare, she was a broodmare and I got to work with two of her foals and her while we were in Oklahoma)

 • Feetdontfailmenow ~ 1993 B m. Tronto Trip - Sister S by Policeman (first horse I learned to gallop)

* Fast Time Lady ~ 1990 B m. Hawk II - Inspiring Times by Olden Times (MEAN witch of a mare to work with at her owner at the time’s home farm, but I would like to know if anyone knows what happened to her after she finished racing).

Hadn’t checked this thread in a long time and was thrilled to find a horse I raised for my boss and a half to one of my all time favorites.

We currently have at home

Crystal Quack
Look at the Flag
He’s a Beauty
Celtic Sunset
Discreet Account
Vying for Money
Bacpac
Wnrwnrchickndnr
Buzznalawng

Jenny, what’s the deal with Buzznalawng? Is she done? She ran so well (and fast) first time out.

And He’s A Beauty - wow, blast from the past. We ran against him at Yakima in the Stallion Stakes in '95.

I’ll add those I personally own for the list if it gets back up:

OTTB:
Straight Move (Ch, h, foaled April 21, 1981 died August 24, 2011)
Robyn’s Accord (B, g, foaled May 14, 2002)
CertifiedNBonefied (Gr/ro, g, foaled March 10, 2007)

TB with an OTTB dam:
Classic Question (Ch, m, foaled Febuary 17, 2007)

Owned and Placed in new home with younger rider who still bounces:
Racing Windy (Ch, g, foaled May 23, 1989 )

Any one with connection to the 3 OTTB listed are welcome to contact me for information about them. Classic Question’s connections know where she is and have update and video

I own Pay Attention (2001 bay gelding, Take Me Out - That’s Ravishing, by Big Spruce).

Others at my barn:

Roxy Balboa (Dixie Brass x Samee Gay)
Loco Gringo’s Lark (Trapp Mountain x Femme Fatale Rose)
Crybaby Capt Sid (Risen Star x Exclusive Caro)
Lap of Honour (Victory Gallop x Catwalk)
Garfields Bluff (Pine Bluff x Garfield Holme)
Swear Allegiance (Swear by Dixie x Allepia)

And, of course, our OTQH Otoe Panaman.

Buzzy had a minor issue so we turned her out for the year. She’s going to go to Pegasus in Jan for 90 days and then back to EMD. We were sick when the Gottstein came up with only 5 horses.

Beauty is a cool, cool horse. I’ve only had him and Flag since July but I love them both. Rachel (my 2yo daughter) is already riding Beauty.

Anyone in here know an Unbridled Gold? I know it’s a longshot, but I own him now and I’d love to hear if anyone knew him when he was racing. He’s a 16.2 KY-bred 6yo dark bay/brown son of Malabar Gold, raced at Charlestown.

I now own Holy Vows (Holy Bull - Final Vows, Halo), along with Jaguar Key (Zen - Lisada Key, Key to the Mint). Sold La Cheryl (Colonial Affair - La Gloria, Saratoga Six) earlier this year.

Other OTTBs owned by friends include Divot’s Charm, Gallant Gesture, Mr. Painter, Frankincense, Prior.

Gotta say, if Spotteddrafter hadn’t taken Farno, I would have driven my butt to New Vocations and picked him up myself, quite happily! He’s such a cool guy. And SD, it looks like I might be in your neck of the woods in the spring (if not then, then DEFINITELY in the fall), might have to take you up on the offer to visit!

Nope, don’t know East End Boy, but I did ride Sunny Boy. ;). Have his mum @ the farm, Hippy Hippy Heart. Started several other babies out of that mare, too. How is Sunny Boy? He was always a good egg.

Which reminds me, anyone know the gelding Righteous Man? '05, by Wiseman’s Ferry, out of Mom’s Dream. Was apparently adopted out by an adoption place out of Finger Lakes. I started him, never thought he’d make it as a racehorse, but thought he’d make a lovely hunter. Really easy baby to work with.

Friend’s horses:

Tomorrows News
KC Kat

This is an awesome resource!

I have a 1997 KY-bred gelding, chestnut with lots of chrome, 17’1: Uncle Bus (now goes by Ben)

I know he went through Canter Ohio and I actually got in touch with someone who had seen him come through. He’s a great horse, quirks and all.

I don’t know if anybody is still adding but if you are please add:

Mister Hennessy a 1999 model that I obtained in 2008

He raced up and down the east coast until then, if anybody remembers him, I would love to hear about him.

Also in our barn are Civil Hero and Jewels Relic. Also, a fine older (27) gentleman named Speedy Spencer.

Sunny Boy is doing great, just retired from racing, transitioning to a hunter. Would love to see some pics of Hippy Hippy Heart (gotta love the name).

I’m the one who bought Sunny, now named Oliver. Him and East End Boy (aka Murphy) have been having a blast with their retirement. Oliver has been very easy going and quiet under saddle and seems to be enjoying life. He’s been sane and sensible and his only issue is that he has no idea about lunging to the right, but we’ll work through that. Do you have any pics of his dam?
