TB's I Have Known - [FB PAGE STARTED w/ Database!!! - update on 1st post]

Hmmm… I’ll see if I have any pics of Hippy, or if I can get any before the first. There’s been some ownership changes, so she’s leaving for the farm of the owner’s friend. A shame, she’s a neat older mare. But Sunny (Oliver) has always been a good boy, should make a great hunter! He used to get the summers off from racing, 3 or 4 months, and you could just throw the tack on him and just put him right back to work. Very workman-like. So, congrats, and have fun with him!

Lil Charlie Too

I am the current owner of a very happy and healthy Lil Charlie Too. We (my 10 & 12 year old girls) have been looking for pictures or videos of Charlie from his past. If you have any you could share or if you could direct me to someone or some place where they might be available I would appreciate the help.

Wow, he was a heck of a racehorse!

He has some wins at Hawthorne, and one at Fairmount, so your best bet may be to contact the track photographer there. The races were a few years ago so they may not have the older ones, but you should be able to get the ones from 2005…

Here’s the site from a guy who works out of Fairmount:

http://www.eleganthorsepictures.com/jim-ansley-fairmount-park.html

Contact them, they MAY have your horse’s win pic from 5/7/05 (race 4)

Couldn’t get onto Hawthorne’s site from here (blocked) to try and look up their photographer, but if you contact their racing office they should be able to direct you.

I thought I’d add…

Masada (Roscoe the Great)
Cisco (Win It Back)
Pirie (Evil Twin)
Quest (Secretos Lord)

Has anyone seen PENNY?
AKA: TIME AND AGAIN or ONE CLEAR MOMENT.
16.0 hand chestnut TB, Penny would now be about 20. Drizzly star, stripe and snip. Very sweet. She was last know to be at The Galloping Fields Farm in Virginia and taken to HITS Ocala in 2000 and sold to a trainer named Will from Texas. If anyones knows where she is please contact me at [email]kequill@comcast.net or 978-771-9287 or 978-365-5458 . Please see my FB page (Kelly E. Quill) for photos. I just want to know she’s okay and if she needs a retirement home I’d be happy to come and get her and bring her home to our farm in Mass. Thanks in advance for any help any of you might be.

Precious Jane

She came into the barn mid-December of last year and I just got around to looking her up. She ran 71 times, soley in PA. Anyone know her? Plain bay, no white, but tiny! I’d remember her if I ever saw her race just because she’s so small.

First, an update on Soul’s Comet - she is now out in my pasture and appears to be a true black, rather than her registered color of dark brown/bay. She has gained so much confidence and has taken over as boss mare, lol.

She has been joined by The Shaughraun  Thanks to Mintano for the wonderful photos and stories of this guy.

I wanted to bump this thread up to let everyone know that because of this thread, the owner of French Warpaint contacted me!!! I had handled and groomed him for the 1999 Keeneland Sept. Yearling Sale where he was treated like royalty, and sold for $205,000 to Mike Pegram. His new owner got him from a Humane Socioty in Cali. Half starved. People suck sometimes. I’m just so glad that he found a great home, where he is loved and cared for.

Even though we no longer have our main list going, please everyone continue posting your TBs here, since this thread does show up on Google searches!!!

I would love to one day have a huge database of TBs, so that none slip through the cracks. The colt I knew could have easily ended u at some slaughter house somewhere.

Anybody know Cover Magic? Big chestnut gelding with a blaze. Raced at Pleasanton and GGF in Calif. Trained by Alex Pacsiev (I know I screwed up that sp!)

I recently purchased Kool Kat Harry (renamed Harrington Cat) this past fall.

Red Hattab renamed Wolf Walker from VA lived out his life with me. Born 3/21/89 - Past April 2009. Such a sad day.

Settimo Cielo is at the barn I board at.

I know:

R Lady in Blue
Handy Dandy Jake
Sweetie Baby

All in good homes. If any past owners are out there and want updates, feel free to contact me.

I have Capital Flyer - Touch of Grey , bred by Peter Winston raced in Finger Lakes . He can’t be beat on the flat , and boy does he tuck those knees.

The love of my life the sweetest horse . Derbys Moment - Modest Man bred by Beverely J Feeny NY . Ran out of Finger Lakes . Such a doll baby !

Does anyone remember Mr. York federal?

Has anyone known or ridden Just Plan Partners??

Itsatryst

I am wondering if any one knew itsatryst back when he was racing or shortly after he stopped?
