TB's I Have Known - [FB PAGE STARTED w/ Database!!! - update on 1st post]
(eRansom;2437490]
I’m always looking for history on my guy:

Chanago’s Classic :slight_smile:

I also had

“Recondo” who was registered w/ the JC but I cannot find out any info about him.
I think I talked to you before about Chance. I was the first one to own him off of the track. I know his trainer very well. I bought him for $500 and resold him to a lady in (I think) PA for her daughter to “retrain.” I was happy to hear that he found a nice home with you. I do have several pictures of him. Let me go digging. I was the one who gave him his barn name as well. :slight_smile:

OKay, these are the only ones I have…I took these at the trainer’s farm. It was a few days before I brought him home.

17HandTB…I have been staring at Contrarian Rose…we used to have a 1/2 sister to Contrary Rose named Cozy Rose and want the family again…yikes…its too early to start buying this year
Norcrest, that’s too funny, I was actually going to PM you when I got home tonight! That foal with the blaze and high whites makes it look like she’s carrying some of those sabino genes, and Contrary Rose was the wildest sabino I’ve ever met without being max.

re: TBs I have know

I don’t know Compelling Person’s pedigree for sure but the database has only one listed as a 1996 model. He was dark bay, almost black, was started by Tim Grams at Charles Town and he said he was a beautiful mover. He ended up with a rescue (now defunct) in Maryland and she rode him bareback and said he would do a shoulder in like he had already been trained.

A Few Others

Belgenio
Scratch N Claw
Thankubelagio ended up in Ohio last year

My kids…anyone know them?

Mabel’s Pride (probably NY)
Bo’s Typhoon (MD)
Oh Let’s Dance (WV)
Duke of Char (CO)

Anyone know my little mare, or anyone in her family?

Tejano’s Sands
Level Sands x Tejano’s Girl
2001 chesnut mare
Raced at Charles Town and a little bit at Penn National.

We have a couple others at our barn too from CT and Penn…

Kindly
Quiot Jordan
Lake Boone
Honorable Decision
Trick of the Tale
Always Fancy (half sister to my mare)
and there’s a whole bunch more, but I don’t know their JC names!

has anyone ever owned/known/seen Jedi Warrior?

Bay, left front sock, right hind sock, big blaze, very handsome :winkgrin:

Hes by Summer Squall out of Hidden Valentine

Thanks!

JustJump- what barn are you at?

I know i’ve heard of both Honorable Decision and Trick of the Tale.

I’ll add mine in:

No Let’s Pet
Ziggy’s Little Boy
WW Robin de Hood
I’m A Little Dudette
Majors Blue Boy (lost track of him would love to know what happened after 95ish)
Stormin’ Jeannie
Wicklow Highlands
Hesa Angel

Quarter Horse Racer – Albo – smaller dark bay stallion

Standardbred Racer – City Dazzle

I can’t remember too many of the names—too long ago (1980’s):

Kind Richard
Tweetsie Pie
Velvet Doll

Trainer and I had a few T.Brooke youngsters from the breeder

Another trainer on the same shed row in Charles Town had a GORGEOUS horse named CUT the Grass.

SanDiego…I thought I answered you…whoops guess not. I never even knew what a Sabino was until I met Contrary Rose’s family! I thought, chestnut, bay, grey, some had white markings some didnt and that was it…then I found a whole new world of color :slight_smile:

Yep, when I met her at Country Life I asked if she was a paint! LOL

Hmmmm…most I can only recall their barn names now…

But let’s see -

Sister S. (I only knew her after she was a broodmare - now deceased from colic right after foaling about 10 years ago)

Feetdontfailmenow ~ dark bay with a star, always reminded us of a mule with her long ears as a baby… was out of Sister S. (We called her Baby Doll around the farm - she was a big goofy youngster) Think she probably only ran at Blue Ribbon if she ever made it that far (I left shortly after we got her started)

Fast Time Lady - bright red mare ~ a WITCH at home and in the stall I still have a scar from her pinning me in her stall against the stall guard.

Double Avenger - my boy’s sire, and he had to have been one of the sweetest stallions I ever met.

Horses I currently own-

PRO BONO- 1997 Bay gelding (Fortunant Prospect-Misty Current)-
Ran in California. Delware and Philly.

CONGOMAMBO-1999 Bay Gelding (Kingmambo-Lubicon)-Owned by Live
Oak Plantation for 4 years and raced in Florida. Before being sold and raced in Charlestown. Pulled out ofslaughter pen in November 2005.

REIGN GIRL- 1996 Bay Mare (Reign Road- Touchofexcellence).
Raced mostly in WV, NY & PA. Now a broodmare.

Anybody have any information on these horses?

Friend of mine is looking for Prophecy Fulfilled - 1985 mare. Supposedly was being used to breed warmbloods in the Camas, Washington area.

I would love to find people that knew some of the horses I owned!! :D:yes:

* Fire and Glory
* Crafty Closure
* Missy Kiri (still have)
* Halo’s Stride (still have)
* My Egyptian Love (still have)
* Timeless Dancer
* Sis Boom Ba
* Lap
* Cut For Bid
* Four Aces
* Lusty Bidder
* No Brother
* Bottle Bell
* Witch Wookie
* Pleasure Measure

I’ll think of more later!!:smiley:

I am desperately seeking 3 older OTTBs, probably in the mid-Atlantic region. All three are out of Kissing Lizzie, by Cortan. They would be in their late teens or early 20s now.

[B]Real Tan /B
Monster Tan (probably gelded)
Lizzie’s Last Tan (also probably gelded)

Two other full siblings, Kiss My Tan and Kizzmatan, are deceased. I had Kizzy for 15 years, and she was the love of my life. I’d be deeply grateful for any leads on the (possibly) surviving three.

I have to go back to the 80’s for this also, but here’s some off the top of my head:

Lord Lister
Key Dancer
Northern Fashion
Northerly Native
Varick
Highland Park
Slew City Slew
Patchy Ground Fog
Mugatea
Sweet Envoy
Dancing Slippers

I know someone who recently rescued a Highland Park daughter from slaughter, so we e-mailed his owner to see if he was still around and learned that he had to be euthanized after a fractured shoulder in July 2003. It sounds like he had a good life though, on a lovely farm, until the end. His owner said he missed him very much.

OK everybody…

Because I have no life/was done picking up poop/there was nothing good on TV, I put all of the names here into an alphabetical excel file with the screen names of those desiring information on them (or who have information on them).

Enjoy. And yes, I will add to it.

A great thing!!

You’ve done your good deed for the year!!! :cool:
