As most of you know I am a minimailst! So not into stuff, knickknacks, etc.
As far as dressy clothes! LOL not in years, in fact I have very few items at all, HAve not shopped for new in a long time.
As for the oncologists office. nada yet.
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
This is where I feel like going all General Patton on them, but perhaps this is something your ex could help withāthe āreminderā callsāHEY WHEN IS OUR APPOINTMENT??? ITāS BEEN <HOW MANY WEEKS??> WE NEED TO KNOW TODAY WHEN WEāLL BE SEEN- and then call the referring doc and get their help as well. Thatās something someone else can do, in a friendly but very firm manner, so you donāt have to!
Enjoy the sunshine!
Actually the referring doc is who told me they have not heard back.
I will give them a few days.
But on a lighter note, I just heard back from the Pony Club Director I contacted, she was thrilled at my offer. Will be getting together in the next week to give her the stuff.
Well Ashley the nurse came through, just got a phone call from the Cancer center, and it is at my local greenville hospital, For next Tues.
Thanks for update ~thankful for Ashley ~
Jingles & AO continue ~
Iām so glad you got the appointment.
go Ashley!!!
Kim,
Great news on PC. Your goodies will be going to a good home and much appreciated
Fancy dresses I was just throwing out there. I have a few in my closet that I havenāt worn in years but havenāt had the courage to get rid of them yet either (donāt ask me why ).
Also great news you now on track for the oncologist for next Tuesday.
I know youāre a bit of a minimalist but one never knows what others have buried in the back of their closet.
Iād offer to share what weāre growing out here but ATM, weāre moving into summer where many things will snooze through the 100+ temps My milkweed is getting a bit annoyed already at our heat but still hoping for Monarchs again this fall.
WMW
Glad you got your apt (Finally! geez). Hope you get someone nice who will keep on top of things.
Going outside to thin out catnip - maybe I will have a wild kitty party tonight! Anyone want some? There isnāt a whole bunch but I will share what I have. Howz 'bout Kim - do your kittehs like catnip? PM me - I can send. (Imagining sniffer dogs at airport going wild āHuh?! What?!ā)
 I just had to move my big pot of catnip I overwintered. Put it inside the garden fence with a wire cloche over it. Because the feral kittehs already found it and had a wild nip hoe down in the middle of the night! People sometimes ask me why I keep the cats out of the catnip if Iām growing it for the cats. Well, because Iām trying to grow it! And cats just have no self control
OH MY GOD NO!! I planted a tiny bit of catnip about 15 years ago at the old house.
IT IS EVERYWHERE, in the woods, in the flower beds in the lawn, I used to harvest and dry it and give it to friends.
MY 2 oldsters are totally not into it anymore. But Miss Pants, Todds cat, I call her Miss pants. LOVES it, and she is still working on last years dried batch. We were going to sell it a few years back at the local farmers market, I made catnip toys and stuffed them with it, and also had small cute jars filled with it, Todd made labels and called it āPunkin Selectā My old cats favorite. We never did do it, but I tell you there is so much catnip on that property I am amazed we do not have more strays around.
OH Saw my first male hummer this evening, I had hung the feeder a few days ago by my bedroom window, had not seen him yet, but I have already refilled it once. Finally saw the little cutie tonight.
Now I just have to not burst out in tears when I give the PC lady all my awesome stuff!!
So what if you do. When I had cancer I went ahead and cried whenever I needed to. I still do.
Kim, itāll be ok to burst into tears. Kinda signifies a big change in your life and itās ok to grieve what you are leaving behind.
Smile through your tears that those āthingsā will be going to a good home where they will be loved and appreciated.
Iām sure the director will understand and maybe even offer a shoulder to cry on {{}}
My cats liked mint better than catnip, that we could share
I just did the same thing. 30 years of horse stuff - gone. Had to clean out my storage locker and I realized that there was no point in keeping it all, it was doing nobody any good and Iām probably not going to be getting another horse any time soon. Gave it to local horse rescue and yes, I cried quite a bit but she got it and they were most appreciative. It can be done - itās just not easy.
Iām surprised your property isnāt overrun with cats with all that catnip. I would love to see that much catnip. Four pots is enough for me thanks.
Be careful what you wish for!!! It spreads like wildfire!!!
At least your neighbors arenāt into the hip hop. Lilitiger2 has a good solution. Polka! Opera may work as well.
When your neighbors canāt take it anymore you can discuss a music truce.
Thinking of you and sending good vibes your way.
Looking in on you ~
Please donāt forget to do something āniceā for my friend, Kimā¦every day ~
((hugs)) laced with strength and comfort ~
- Youāve Got Friends ~
Thanks Zu Zu. Been a rough couple of days, not feeling great.
But something that is making me smile right now, are you guys and the two male hummers that have shown up in the last few days, I just put a second feeder on the back side of the house so as not to be in sight with the one they were fighting over. now they both want the new one. For such tiny creatures they sure are little devils.
