The Big C! RIP Kim, see pg. 218

Totally agree, I could never get all I do from gardening myself, Tomatoes and cukes are my talent. LOL

At least you will have plenty even if the groundhog comes back to look for more, it is moot question now.

I hear produce up there has a shorter time to grow, but the quality is outstanding
You should be able to have good stuff anyway.

Have you been following all the ground breaking new cancer treatments with immonotherapy?
Here is one story:

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/immunotherapy-treatment-saves-life-of-woman-with-late-stage-breast-cancer/

That may be something that could possibly fit your situation.

They have been trials for this for some years and, when it works, it really works well.

Even with horses, grey horse melanoma, those therapies are successful in a good 80%, that is terrific odds.

Check with your Drs and any one big cancer center near you.

Kim, I am thinking of you today because of the new “neighbor” I spied yesterday. I think it is a groundhog? It was BIG! I live in a little 55 plus community but right in the middle of town. We do have a lot of open ground that is being re-developed so lots of space to dig. Luckily, I don’t have a vegetable garden but we will see if it has an appetite for flowers. I hope not. I have lived here 4 years and never seen one before?

Throwing out some cyber hugs your way {{HUGS}}.

Hang in there Kim. I’m sorry about your garden but glad there is plenty of good fresh stuff around you.

Hope you get the meds sorted out. I don’t like the extended release stuff, though I’m sure it has its uses. Much easier to just take something when needed that doesn’t last for 12 hours.

Thinking of you this morning and hoping you have a good day today.

Virtual (((hugs))) for you!

Btw, has a package arrived? It shows delivered so I hope it was delivered to the right house. Lol

I was going to email you then I could not find it. I adore the lovely hummingbird ornament and magnet! That was so sweet of you. It had a return address of MArquette Michigan. Are you in Michigan? It seemed you sent it and not the company because you had a personal note in it. Funny thing, My Horse vet had the same last name as your screen name. without the girl. and the same first name you have!

Well okay, Kicking and screaming I am going in at 9 am this morning to have a port placed.
I DO NOT WANT TO DO IT!!! I> am such a baby. I said to the Ex and myself and oncologist a week or so ago I would try it for a month. AGHHHHH. Yes I am a big fat whiney baby.

Well see above it they don’t kill me!

You’ll get through it with flying colours and get a red lollipop and a gold star for good behaviour!

I can understand and relate with the “big baby” complex and wish I was there to help you through it.

Funny how strong people can weather the big storms but it’s the littler things that send us over the edge.

I’ll be thinking of you and am so glad you’re moving forward with this.

I’m so glad you like it! I saw it on Etsy and since they were in Michigan I thought I’d include a note and skip it coming all the way to NC first

I hope you’re able to hang it somewhere other than just a Christmas tree - I thought it might bring you some cheer.

Good luck today! I hope it goes well and it’s not as bad as you’re expecting. I don’t like having stuff done either and I don’t think you’re a whiney baby.

Jingles for an easy and fast morning!!

You go girl! Hope it’s an easy and drama free process! You are really, really brave going through this and, as I can attest, this is a fantastic place to vent, share fears, just
whatever. Onward!!!

Still not seeing any whiny baby here
you are doing what you can
nothing prepares us for dealing with this big an issue.

You want to see whiny baby
waves - over here I managed to get strep throat, pink eye and thrush all together
A bunch of kiddy ailments, that you need to be a kid to deal with it seems

You, not whiny, you are a strong woman dealing with an overwhelming situation
