As far as Barbaro goes, I remember someone posting on the ABR forum a few years ago that they were in the grocery store and wondering what to get for dinner and her dear Barbaro spoke to her and made suggestions. She said it made her feel wonderful that he came to her when she needed him - and spoke only to her - and no one else in the store could hear him.
Yes, she was deadly serious and occasionally would post photos of her shrine to him.

When the Barbaro fervor was at its height I don’t believe Facebook was in existence or at least not heavily patronized, so everything pretty much stayed on the ABR site. If Facebook had been going along, then I think things would have escalated to a point approaching the Chrome site.

I believe that there was at least one incident at either Martin’s home or his work site from one of these crazies, so they are real.

Not sure but I imagine for the most part they all had their own groupies with only a little cross over. Some like chestnuts, some bays, some mares, some colts etc. It’s a little like picking a football team I think.

yes he is a dying horse and as you know horses do not bounce back they go into deep depression. They all left him at the same time. It is a helpless feeling for us to see him in his condition from afare. We need to take action perhaps Carolyn or Sherman himself the others are not thinking at this point. We feel his spirit but not everyone does. I am with you all the way
