I don’t see the post about the donation anymore either. If they sent the money they’re spending on shipping cookies, they could do some good.

Some of the serious whackadoodles seem to be hanging out on Victor’s facebook now. Just saw this one (along with a rather alarming tattoo picture)!

Chrome I <3 him my favorite horse of all time! I even made A My little pony into CC and tattooed it on my arm!

Some of the comments there when Victor announced that he was going to be racing Chrome in Dubai were way off the deep end.

It just goes to prove that they are not genuine fans. Who could be unaware that there are various entities that would be grateful to receive funds and aid??? Even requests from Chrome’s owners and trainers to support charities have landed on deaf ears. How clueless can you be???

I think that particular “fan” was the Coburn relative who is standing in as the Coburn’s “voice.”

Speaking of the mare, Taylor Made seems particularly fascinated by her bloodlines, and perhaps they have been interested in another, equally (in their eyes) good or better match for her.

I am not surprised that anyone would be keen to look at an interesting match for CC’s dam.
But…Why on earth would any of CC’s former connections want to appear as an ignoramus, by suggesting that the broodmare was being sent away for race training?

Rather makes the fans of the horse, that they used to have a minority interest in, look stupid.
I do not know any of these people. Are they truly bonkers? They’d have to be, to be involved in the BCH debacle.
I did see Coburn go off like an idiot after the Belmont, but I thought perhaps that was a one off…

BTW, Skydy, what ever happened to that chestnut gelding you got a couple of years ago–Piggy? I enjoyed hearing about him, and then the story just vanished.

You may be confusing me with the COTH’s “Skyy”?..who has ponies I think?
I am “skydy”.
I have not a had a chestnut gelding since (he died) approx.18 yrs ago.

(Jeff Chandler on the site who initiated the send-Chrome-a-Christmas-card brainstorm keeps rabbiting on in the hope that someone takes a photo of the cards at Los Al so he can view his online – further proof that it’s ‘about themselves’ – kind of like the boneheads who have to get in on news shots behind the TV reporter and wave/make stupid faces for the camera). Too bad BCH goads him with praise for the ‘brilliant idea.’

Now BCH supporter Fran Harrington is stating that she tried to arrange for investors to buy out the Coburns’ share of Chrome’s ownership in the past and would relish the idea of becoming the connections’ PR person. Really? This from an individual who could not even figure out how to go see the horse at Los Alamitos when she was scheduled to be in So CA in January for a visit and who implored on BCH and other websites inquiring how to do just that (without success). And does she realize that the job she pines for would entail working closely with a co-owner team she despises and makes no bones about it with her derogatory posts on BCH??? Hope that’s not your day job, Fran…
