The Maestro has written another book

Not a problem for most us. He’ll find himself in way over his head if he tries showing up at anyone’s front door again.

I’m confident that he would be easily dispersed. I would “lobbest towards thou foe the Holy Hand Grenade Of Antioch” which is just as silly as are his bizarre threats.

Certainly his sympathy for mass shooters is not to be taken lightly. He does seem to have the mentality to take his frustrations out against people he doesn’t know. However I don’t expect that he has the nerve to individually confront people he disagrees with.

The bombast is pathetic and I hope he is able to stop with the fantasies and the paranoia and move on. It’s sad that he is so invested in his fantasy of being a “Great Trainer” that he continues to make a fool of himself online. Anyone that has children should really think twice before putting such garbage out for the world to see.

Nick is very open about this behaviour.

Isn’t there some obligation on a therapist to contact potential victims and warn them of a threat?

My guess is she has nothing more to do with him than having liked his posts, many years ago. He steals from people with ablomb. She likely knows he wrote this, he could she not, by now, and has chosen to be silent about it, especially online. Maybe she doesn’t know what he’s done, claimed, about her. I doubt, though, that she wrote that, or would have. I also doubt she is in any manner his therapist.

What worries me is that there are lots of people with very limited online presence, so she might actually not know about this at all.

Or her text was heavily edited by the likes of the weekend brain surgeons also known as the three “editor’s.” After all, there is something known as poetic license when you are a gifted author genius type above all rules of professional conduct.

I believe this is the thread about the late night phone call situation for those who might not have read it already.

Out of curiosity, I looked at his other book on Amazon to see if he’s been continuing to promote that one or if he’s shifted all of his efforts over to the dressage book.

There’s an interesting recent review about how the relationships between men and women are written in the book, and how the author appears to be glorifying misogyny. So it appears to be a common theme with him.

Hey, why don’t we start correcting things that are ok, so he might change them to be wrong. Fun!

If she didn’t write it EXACTLY as printed, and he’s written it and claimed that she did, she should be taking swift legal action. Her credibility as a professional, retired or not, is now in question. I would be absolutely horrified if it were me - and she should be.

Even Nick’s smart enough to read your big hint on here.

Nah, the whole thing is bad enough as it stands.

Stating a truth in writing is not libel. Speaking a truth is not slander. If you say and write something and it’s true or you reasonably believe it to be true, you are protected. When suing for libel or slander, a plaintiff needs to not only prove the fallacy but that the plaintiff was harmed financially. If someone is widely considered to be incompetent (for instance) and that belief is widely held, and no money damages can be proven, then there is little hope in prevailing in a lawsuit.

It is funny, in a weird way, that the people who he calls names and hates so much are worth reading and taking advice from.

I mean really, if his editors knew their stuff before it was published there would be no copies of the book out there with a ‘forward’.

I do keep hoping that someone who knows the woman whose name is on the ‘forward’ would point out to her what she has put her name on.

Which I guess is what makes it OK that NP publishes this stuff with no risk of getting in trouble for it.

Start a Corp with the name Swamptown Editing and Legal Advice and then invoice him. Doesn’t cost much to register a corp.

Have to get it a PO Box too. Don’t want to be giving him a real address to bring his thugs to.
