I will caution you, if the USEF showed no interest at their convention, I doubt that even pressure from the media will do anything. Perhaps it is time to give up on the issue.

Is this a BB a meritocracy based on the number of posts? Is your opinion weighted more consideribly with each 1,000 posts?
What personal statisitics qualifies ones opinion?

I respect anyone who has joined the BB to be heard, whether they are, or not, in favor of reinstatement or tack nosebands…everyone is entitled to their own opinion, regardless of the lenght and basis of their membership.

Otherwise you come off as saying things that have no basis in order to defend him from a charge that you don’t understand in full because you weren’t around then and so don’t know all the details.
I wasn’t around then either. And I don’t know all the details. That’s why I’m interested to hear more of Valliere’s side of the story. Even those of us who were around when the horses were killed don’t necessarily know Valliere’s side of the story. It’s not about attacking you or him. It’s wanting to know the truth.
Truth is an amalgam: one’s own perspective and the other person’s perspectives combined with the hard facts. We’ve got two of those. Please do enlighten us and tell us Valliere’s side of the story so that we can have all three.

YT, I signed the petition, and even I think some people might be getting a little ahead of themselves here on a few things.
Harry is right; this effort is likely to require funding.
Maybe we need to make up bracelets (like the Livestrong ones Lance Armstrong’s foundation created to raise money for fighting cancer) that riders could buy - and WEAR - to show opposition to the reinstatement. I am thinking that seeing a bunch of red “DON’T DO IT” bracelets on every exhibitor at this winter’s horseshows would be a h*ll of a statement…
