When that outrage goes away…I think I will go to NASCAR…for a classier crowd.

there was a long thread recently about the rider who was going to work for PV - 'twas here on H/J forum - I would assume that said rider was banking on PV applying for and being granted reinstatement as otherwise said rider would violate the newly passed rules if he tried to enter shows on horses owned by, trained by,…PV
I also have the US Attorney’s office press release announcing Heinsohn’s indictment, and it deals only with the killing of his horse Pet Of The Year. So, it appears that he wasn’t indicted for Jatomic Streaker, and thus the more vague wording about it.
He did plead guilty to one count of making false statements.
You cannot compare the no reinstatement movement to a jumper rider crashing… I understand the movement, you guys have great motives and I think your persistance is admirable. But this series isn’t the place for negativity. Let it go…

she did loose her vet license, and evidently has been trying to get it back. I did hear a few years ago that there was a group of people who either felt she deserved help or where trying to help her in petitioning for it back. The fact they felt sorry for her as if she were an innocent wronged, was revolting.
If a Doctor turned a blind eye to murder and made a profit out of it, people would be horrifed without question. She did the same, a Vet takes an oath to protect animals in need not murder them for profit.
The gossip, about her in court was that she was pregnant and Chuck married her in a ploy to avoid jail time. I think Radio might be right in assuming she never went to jail and never was suspended. Like I said if she was suspended it was only for a few years.

The best??? Not in my opinion. I consider him one of the worst. Someone with less talent is a much better trainer than anyone that at ANYTIME in their life, would be willing to consider killing a horse for financial gain, or status.
What if a family member took over? I saw wording for a companion or spouse, would that include children?

Considering how much work I’m having to do WITHOUT Paul participating here, I think I can safely say that it wouldn’t work and would never happen. Unfortunately there are a group of people who participate here who are extremely immature and have been incredibly out of line, both on and off the BB.

I hadn’t responded on any of these crazy threads - but this was surely one of the most ridiculous things I have read all along. Are they different? Hell yes! In case you need a reminder, abortion is legal in this country. Murdering a horse for insurance fraud is not. And that is only the beginning of the differences. Don’t even go there, “big dawg” - think about what you are actually saying. I sincerely think that few anywhere would value a horse’s life above a human’s - but that is not even what we’re talking about.

With the exception of this case I believe most are suspended for a specific term and then automatically reinstated.
Jane Clark to her credit when she was President made sure that these crimes because they were so heinous in terms of horse abuse and affected the industry as a whole so negatively made sure this time the Suspension was serious and not necessarily open to Reinstatement
I would guess the Sidelines article had more influence on any discussion. I have mailed some to Florida and California. About 150 have been sent by me.
