Does anyone know how many members there are in USEF? I cruised around the website and could not find that info. I am wondering what percentage we have of the membership on the petition. ( I know all sigs are not members)

Ok. I did it again. Did not join USEF last year because I had heard about Nancy Banfield getting back in. The USEF just sent me another letter to re join and I replyed that I did not want to be associated with a group who supports any person who is convicted of killing horses for profit. Ooops, I mean convicted of horse abuse.

I think the relevance here is that there are some well known, BNP(people) who still abhor PV for what he did and do not believe he should be reinstated. Its not just us “little people” as Mason so nicely put it, that feel he should stay banned.
I too would like to know who some of his BNP supporters are. I am more than happy to give my name and stats, but being a little person and all, I am not sure anyone cares

Duffy, you’re right, but I was referring to all the posts alluding to certain posters “backing” PV, or worse, implying Chanda thinks the death of those horses as insignificant…that was not how I interpreted her posts.

sent several of the posts on this thread to a close friend who is an riding alumni of Ethel Walker. Needless to say she spent many hours today on the phone with them. Their director of communications told her that they did not approve the ad placed and are very upset by the linking of their name and PV’s. Is seems that they did not know of the ad until it was placed because it originated from Northrun. They plan on doing some rapid PR work to distance themselves from any association with PV. They are looking into whether any of their staff had anything to do with this ad.
Hey, that is good news. I was getting a bit frustrated that I had not heard back from EW. I will be very interested in seeing what their “rapid PR work” evolves into.
