Sound on Fox SUCKS!! Can’t hear anything over all the background noise/music.
Better on FS1, but man…. The announcers are NOT good.

I’m just watching on FS1 and not network tv Fox, I assume it’s a different broadcast/broadcasters? Regular network Fox makes NBC look fantastic.

What a great race! Love the winner. He was my pick in the Derby–should’ve put a few bucks down on him today!
However, someone fire/smack/both the sportscaster who, immediately after the wire, said, “A filly! In the Belmont!” --WTF?! I rewound to play it again and make sure I heard correctly. Where the hell did that slip up come from?

I’m a professional singer, and I also happen to work at Churchill seasonally. I get sooooooooooo unbelievably frustrated by their choices for who sings the national anthem. Sometimes the get it right, but for each time in the last 16 years they’ve got it right they’ve also had a hot mess in close proximity.

I watched on FS1 as part of America’s Day At The Races with their regular team - switched back and forth to regular Fox a couple of times… cringed… and stayed on FS1.
Full brothers winning Triple Crown races - amazing! No one said anything about fillies on FS1.
But good heavens - even with a Houghton run out bit, Sierra Leone was bearing in heavily…

I’m not a New Yorker, but during the singing of “New York, New York” I was comparing its singer with the woman who sang the national anthem. I thought, Performing is appropriate for a show tune. Rock it out. Make it yours. Just leave the national anthem alone and just sing it. Well.
I don’t know if any New Yorkers would agree with me. Just my thoughts. I hope it doesn’t offend anyone.

Do you mean two of the jockeys? Trainers? Full horse brothers couldn’t run in the same year.
While I’d have loved to have “my horse” be a winner again, I am happy for Dornoch & his connections.
Definitely was a nice solid race.
SL was all over the track again. Hopefully he doesn’t end up taking out a horse or worse in the future.
