I agree, lets resque these ungrateful mares! See mine is at least a chestnut so I can blame an attitude on her coat color. Mares are such…well, mares. I got mine 10 days off her last race at 3 years old and she is the most mellow horse I think I have ever met, completely even tempered. But she is a PITA a much as possible as she thinks she is in charge.

Well, frankly, that just seems like too “cheap” a solution for my darling mare. I mean, really, baling twine and glue??? No, once the termites wreak their havoc, it’s papier-mache’ all the way (it’s what all the fashionable 3-legged horses are wearing now)! Of course, I’ll wait till the foal is born so I can match up the colors; it’s got to set off the sabino markings ‘just so.’ So in the nine months of her gestation–it IS just like humans, right?–I’ll have to search for something in mahogany, or perhaps burlwood, to replace the termite-infested one she’s got now (and it IS termites… they’re eating away at the floor of the trailer as I type this on my blackberry whilst driving down the highway on my way to the Texas studmuffin). Hope I get there before they eat their way through… damn this state is long!!!

I don’t think I’m gonna be able to do the parade. We ran out of food last night and had to eat the 18.7 h Gesteuntphlanovarian stallion. He was delicious! I whipped up a little morganade for flavor and it was well received by all the BNT’s and the AC that I invited for dinner. The AC actually said the Gesteuntphlanovarian was very happy to be able to come into the house for dinner. Course he didn’t realize he was dinner!
Maybe I can get a cowboy to break my yearling this afternoon and I can tuck her in my trunk and bring her along for the parade / clinic. Does the clinician accept greenies or do you have to be doing some form of GP, Rollkur, airs above the ground or boot scoot boogieing?

Can you collect him today, and get the critters to me by Fed Ex… no, wait… DHL… no, wait… can I come pick it up, and fly it home myself? Or maybe I can throw my little mare in the trailer, and head on down to Texas. She’s always in heat, so timing shouldn’t be a problem. But, um… she’s had some trailering issues (she lost that fourth leg in a minor trailer loading incident; no big deal… she just has a few minor balance issues, nothing 30 days of training can’t fix). But if she lies down all the way, she should be okay. Right? Live cover would be best, cause she’s the horny type, and I’ve always wanted her to “get some.”
