Urgent: Transworld mares and youngstock

Horses are posted for sale on the CO Miracle Feedlot page:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/ColoradoMiracleFeedlotRescue

Three bays and and think I see six chestnuts. Posted prices range from $445 - $845. No word on if Winning Spin’s papers are available.

Epona, those missing foals might be here.

I am assuming the mare they call Cherry Cola is one of the group? From what I can tell she looks like a pretty mare. She also looks like she could foal at any time.

It does look like on the Facebook page that someone has purchased the mares and only the 3 geldings are left??? Hopefully someone will see their potential and get them all out of that place. I can hope anyway.

Oh mighty one Simkie, You are correct. They are there, at least most of them. I have put dibbies on five and unless someone wants the last one available will probably dibby that one. I arranged to buy the mare and foal that is still at the farm. She is 16 or so. and My 17 yr old has a lot of behavior problems that are caused by diet and countinuous fear. We fixing them.

If you go on the Facebook page for the rescue site listed in the preceding post by simkieyou will see a name Crystal Brady who sort of ram rods the site. You have to join in order see all of the posts and so forth, ask to join and she should respond quickly. I took the dark brown pregnant mare, three of the Chestnut parade mares and a youngster named Superstar. The total for those five is 3675.00 I will keep the little one so knock off her 445.00 and it is 3230, if my math is right. The rescue has rules about transferring these horses so if you want one of these mares, you need to look on the site and tell me which one you are interested in taking. I believe they are all pregnant, young to middle-aged and very similar in build The bay mare has had two previous foals, the ones you see as the two dark bay geldings “Tundra and Frigid” . The one on the right is actually a filly I believe and the only one that is not spoken for right now. She may be two but I think she is a long yearling. I have’t spoken for her yet. I saw her up close and she is very nice. I would be proud to have her in my barn. Please just pm for donations and I will give you my paypal address or home address for check. If you want one of the horses, then I will need all your information for the brand inspection, coggins test and whether you want me to take delivery and board them until you can pick them up latter or what. You would then just pay for the horse directly per instructions on the Facebook page. I will take the bay tundra “gelding” if no one else does.

It is a very complex system which I am not familiar with. I have to find something to eat and it is very late. I hope if i sleep on this I can explain better tomorrow. And no papers will come with these horses I was told on good authority. WE may be able to get replacement papers on winning Spin but I am not current on JC rules. Assume you can’t. If she is one of the chestnut mares i may be able to identify her, just not sure. I think I won’t be up much longer so pm me. I will respond in the morning. Thanks everyone. Sorry to be so late and so loopy. We have been chasing around trying to find them all day Until Crystal started posting them this afternoon in dribbles. Great word.

Susan, i am the one. I haven’t paid for them yet. It is Cherry cola and the three mares in the Chestnut parade picture, The explanation is below here. If someone else wants one I will be glad to release it. I’ll be glad to pick them up and board or care for them for a little while until you can get them or arrange for them to be picked up. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This is not so much of a reply as an addendum. Everyone else seems to think that both of the bays are boys. I have not looked up close and personal so I can’t say the second is a filly. That is only what the owner told me and she is not always accurate on the sex of the foals. She did say that none of them have been gelded and obviously they are at least a yr or so apart in age. They may both be boys. if so they are almost certainly entire. I did speak for the left hand one last night but I simply can’t buy them all so I am going to release the left hand one in a few minutes. The bay mare has a pedigree that is big heart so these boys will probably have the big heart. She is out of a transworld mare and second dam is by green dancer.

The seller specifically told me the young bays were geldings. These are the horses that were supposed to be sold privately in Wiggins and went to cla when that fell through. They were owned by another party who gelded them (from what I understand.)

Don’t personally know, but the guy was looking at them to race and they aren’t registered so he rejected them, that per the shipper. Let you know.

looking for address to get some $$ to you…

Me Too!! Please let me know where and how to contribute.

Latest from Crystal is that all on the lot are accounted for (many going to Epona!) but the two bays and an absolutely ADORABLE chestnut boy horse…lot owner says gelded, but I think Epona and I both are both dubious

The chestnut is ~15.3 ish, stocky, maybe 3 yo? SUPER friendly and curious.

There’s a lady who goes to the lot and boards where I have Fellow right now. She’s been feeding Fellow treats, and says she immediately knew this one was his because they both have that total in your pocket personality. Impressive for a young horse that likely hasn’t ever been handled. Should be a fairly easy transition to being an upstanding citizen.

For those of you who don’t FB or don’t have access to the group, I have some pics of him here:

I would love to take him, but really have my hands full with Fellow. Things are not as simple with him as I expected.

If the lot owner has a full load, these horses will ship tomorrow morning :frowning:

Send Epona a PM for her paypal email addy. Or I can hook you up with the phone # to talk to the lady who works with the lot owner if you have any interest in purchasing.

Thank you all for every single dribble and thought and bump for these horses. What a crappy situation, but we are really close to all of them being safe.

I’m interested in the chestnut boy and a bay, the one with the star and white on three legs. I traded PMs last night with the person who runs the FB page, but have not heard much since I told her I was interested. Any suggestions?

There is activity on the feedlot rescue site in the past few minutes. Is the yearling SuperSaver available?
Who is still available?

Edited to update: seems like Froggy (chestnut colt I talk about above), Super Star (yearling ish colt), one bay gelding and one additional chestnut colt (the one on the far left in the “parade” picture) are still available.

I am dubious that the chestnut colt in the parade picture is four years old as they state, but it may be possible.

I have no idea how to link to anything on facebook. :-/

One more update: the yearling ish colt they’re calling Super Star is okay. Just the three left.

Heard a lot of good things about Transworld as a sport horse sire. [/QUOTE]

Sorry, not familiar with him.
Breed ?
Where was he standing ?

Froggy is super adorable in the pictures. :frowning: Doesn’t someone need a project? https://www.facebook.com/groups/ColoradoMiracleFeedlotRescue/permalink/198895897116695/?pnref=story

I think Froggy is adorable, too  Looks like a sale is pending on him. All we have left is the bay gelding and the chestnut in the “parade” pic. Pics aren’t awesome on either one, but all of these horses are VERY much the same type…

I’ve lost track. Is everyone safe now or if there still a bay gelding?

Hope Epona doesn’t mind my sharing her note in my email - they were going to start loading in half an hour and she was trying to get two more.
Epona, THANK YOU. So many starfish.
D.

I just sent more $$$. It should be enough for one of the young ones.

Did I hear that Epona is taking ALL NINE on the lot?

She is A SAINT!
