It is not on the docket. I understand that it was supposed to be. There is a fb page Justice for Tiger that provides updates.
As I understand it the DA didnât plan on it being on Wednesday and hasnât announced when they will push it to the grand jury. In cruelty cases they move rather slow. 30 dogs were seized in Austin County in January and arrests were only made a few weeks ago. So based on that look for a warrant if any this summer.

I have talked to people who were in research involving animals and it wasnât pretty. Maybe itâs all roses and cupcakes these days. I looked into it in the 90s and was told if I didnât like what went on in vet clinics donât get into research. Sorry if you were insulted.[/QUOTE]
Things have changed substantially since then â think about it, itâs been almost 20 years. I have several colleagues who are lab animal vets and they pride themselves on the humane care all of their patients receive. There are strict protocols to ensure the animals in labs are handled in a safe and humane manner, even moreso than most, I dare say.

Been following this whole thread and Iâm so puzzled at how many posters didnât exactly condone the actions of this woman, but did kind of postulate âexcusesâ, like the feral cat debate.
As a nurse for many, many years in fields where I see alot of death, I can say that in all honesty there have been many of my patients I really did not care for at all, that it was a HUGE effort to be compassionate & caring to their needs when they were such A-holes ('cause even a-holes die eventually).
Perhaps I, like most medical personal, made less than PC comments about that person behind closed doors.
But I never felt the desire to shoot them through the head with an arrow (even if I could have gotten away with it)âŠand I certainly never GLOATED when they died.
Never.
THAT is what makes this so ickyâŠand I wouldnât care if she worked at McDonalds.
We should never gloat or preen when someone or something dies. Even if we killed it. That is just so very, very wrong.

THIS^^^ I donât like snakes that are poisonous, but never gloated or took pics when I had to kill one that was in my backyard where the dogs go. That girl is evil.
any more news?

Off topic, sorry, but I just spent a day in the hospital for blood transfusions. 7 hours in the ER in the middle of the night and another 8 hours in a room. I wasnât happy to be there at all, and while I cooperated, my attitude⊠Left some to be desired. But everyone was so nice to me - friendly with a smile on their face. I apologized to my Dr. and the nurses for my behavior.
You guys have to deal with so much! And then you canât even say what you want to say to a bratty, nasty, little b*tch of a patient. Oh the stories you could tell. I may well be in one now. Oops.
Long story short, thank you for what you do!

any updates?
The non profit who was getting harassed because they had a similar name to the vet clinic where the vet worked got a phone call and apology from a lady in NY. She said some of her members had written and posted pics on their FB page and she told them they had the wrong place and to take down their posts and change the rating. She ran a nonprofit of some sort and recommended her members send a donation in apology. They did receive a few.
Two updates First the case has been turned over to the grand jury.
https://www.facebook.com/JusticeforTiger?fref=nf
And apparently Ms Lindsey will send through her lawyer a statement to the TX board of Veterinary Medicine
https://www.facebook.com/JusticeforTiger/posts/892948770767107
They are also trying to get her to appear before the board.
I really wonder what she will say.
Thanks for keeping us updated about this, twelvegates. I hope this âveterinarianâ does indeed have her license revoked.
Kim
Thanks!
Thank you for the update, twelvegates!

Strange blog entry. Whoever writes that blog doesnât know much about lawyering. He or she suggests that the lawyerâs letter must be fakeâŠbut, honestly, it looks like a fairly standard cease and desist letter to me (and I am a lawyer).
Nevertheless, Iâm glad to see that things are progressingâŠ

Yeah, and she keeps mentioning charging with murder, which you canât charge for killing an animalâŠ
The more current news is this. The KLâs lawyerâs letter is legit, though the errors in it are amusing (such as itâs not illegal to shoot a ferel cat, the misspelling is his not mine. And the clause he cites as a privacy clause is about maintaining a public searchable database of complaints, if complaint is dismissed it is not entered into the database. It has nothing to do with who the board can talk to about a pending case.) The veterinary board in TX is giving everyone who filed a complaint with them about KL a chance to respond to it no matter where they live. They are still taking complaints on the case if anyone would like to have their voice heard on the matter.
The case did not go to the grand jury last Wed so 24 Jun is the next possible date. Supporters of Tiger will be outside the courthouse on that date. The exciting news is the DA is treating it as a felony investigation, which means if convicted she canât own firearms unless pardoned. However it varies by state if crossbows are included in the prohibition.
The veterinary board is working with the DA

Ha! I didnât even read that far!
