Veterinarian Proudly Shows Off Cat She Killed

What the Fruitbat.

Definitely What The Fruitbat. What’s wrong with people? Oh wait - never mind - I already know the answer to that

So, I guess in Texas you can put an arrow through someone’s head and post it on FB then get away with murder because they can’t prove it happened in Texas?!

WTF!

That’s the most polite response I can muster in regard to this.:no::mad:

Let this be a lesson to people if you want to commit a felony and brag about it on face book Brenham Texas is the place to be.

Brenham is not in Austin county. The site of the incident was in Austin county, Bellville. Brenham is in Washington county that is where she worked.

Liberty - I looked at the complaint form and I wonder if the board intends to just dismiss them ALL because you can’t fill out everything and because it didn’t happen to you? It requires the full name and address of the person you are filing the complaint about. Does anyone have that information?

It just feel like the plan is to say “Well, this didn’t happen to YOU, so we’ll just toss this in the trash?” I wonder if emails inundating their boxes might work better?

I guess if you want to get away with murder, do it in Texas. Post it on Facebook if you want. No one will care. Absolutely disgusted.

I think emails will do well to show them that this is not something easily swept under the rug. As for an address for Lindsey on the complaint form, I think just listing her last known place of employment should suffice:

(Employed here at the time of cat killing): Washington Animal Clinic
2100 Texas 36
Brenham, TX 77833
(979) 836-4531

This disgusts (and infuriates) me, too!

I am so upset about this, I can’t put into words how I truly feel or I’d be banned from this board. NO PROOF?

Kim

I feel exactly the same way.

I’m embarrassed that she’s a member of the same profession as I.
I can’t imagine hiring her.

That is the only saving grace as hopefully there is enough publicity that she is unemployable in her profession. I would be going after her with a civil suit were I Tiger’s owner.

I do not think there is ANY value in calling/harassing/otherwise wasting the time of hardworking vets who FIRED her the exact moment they learned of her behavior. Unless you want to send them a thank you note, since up to now they are the ONLY ones who have acted to punish her.

Might be nice to update your post accordingly

I’m with you. And dismayed that she wasn’t charged with a crime (in accordance with TX law). I am guessing that the TBVME won’t revoke her license since she wasn’t charged.

It’s not over yet. https://www.facebook.com/JusticeForTigersHumans/photos/a.415700281944872.1073741828.415430005305233/458869967627903/?type=1&theater

The Texas veterinary board is moving forward with their case.

Thanks for the update, paks. Hopefully something will come of this, and appropriate action will be taken against this woman.

Kim

Thanks for that update, I too hope some action will be taken against her.

The Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners is meeting on this now. And since Lindsey has a lawyer there is also a Lawyer representing the complainants.

And there is another group looking to reopen criminal charges.

A violation has been found
