How awful! I am disgusted to hear she is still at it. Poor horses.
She is still at it, breeding everything. And the foals, those who survive, are totally unhandled which makes rescuing and doctoring them very difficult.

tempichange is one of many in line who has filed suit against Lisa D. She has posted specifics about her charges early in this thread.
I think they mean about the charges tempi change is facing themselves. Which are true. The person who originally exposed them on one of the fb forms looks to have taken it down. I’m not sure about the person who’s broodmares were affected if their post is still up or not but there are charges for starving horses much like Lisa now against the person who originally blew the whistle on her. It’s a sad world but even those who advocate strongly for the welfare of broodmares can’t be trusted.
Yes. We’ve now had several house guests such as yourself pop up making this statement but have yet to provide anything concrete. That’s a large accusation to make about someone who has been on COTH for two decades and seems to be in good standing in the community IRL.
Edit: the only three people to make this claim are all first time posters, which is super suspect.
I fully understand your hesitation to believe it. Honestly I cannot explain to you how much I wish it wasn’t true but I also don’t want to expose myself because I do not want to deal with the possible issues of it. A lot of people put trust in her and she had a great program that a lot believed in and she let a lot of people down even outside of the horses in her care. Her position in the community was also on extremely rocky ground and she had been warned against growing outside of what she could realistically handle as to not risk that very new acceptance in the community and she ignored the advice and bit off more than she could handle.
I’d also like to mention that a couple of the people she surrounded herself with are also not being looked upon kindly in the community by the fact they did not speak out sooner when they should have.
