We need some cute Kitty pics to cheer us up

Paisley is growing up and looking a bit less like a kitten and more like a cat at eight months.

I have her and Tom integrated and they are slowly becoming friends. They play and hang out together. He was a bit socially awkward at first. I suspect that she will be the boss of him. She’s smarter, quicker, and has all her teeth.

She looks like a cat I wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley!

She did survive in a storage facility as a kitten.

She’s kind of a messy eater—grabs the food and takes it away by a foot or so—when she’s first fed. I wonder if she had to compete with adult ferals at a feeding station or simply didn’t get enough food.

I call this “Bob with Thankgiving Cactus”.

The bloom landed on the floor 15 seconds after I took this photo.

As an aside that all pet owners will appreciate: every medication you can see in this photo, with the exception of the red-lidded generic Tylenol, is a prescription pet med of one sort or another. My medicine cabinet has two human prescription meds in it…

My 1st roommate had a cat who’d growl as she ate.
We joked, said it sounded like she was saying
Mine! Mine! Mine!!

@MNick I have a gray tuxedo with “boots”
I’m always amazed at the very distinct borders of his varied height socks.
The White stops HERE!

@2DogsFarm I’m a sucker for a tuxedo :joy: did you post your kitty in here? Now I have to see!

@Kyrabee I used to read the Thoroughbred series as a little girl and there was a barn cat that used to sleep on the horses back. I always wanted that for my life haha Boots is THE ONLY kitten that has been down for my shenanigans and my filly so far is allowing my dreams to come true :joy::joy:

Torties are notorious for ruling the roost. This sassy gal looks like a boss for sure. I adore her white and black whiskers.

Which I now realize were truncated at the edge of her face by the iPhone’s interesting approach to adjusting f-stop in post-production.

Love a nice tuxedo! Annie is part of my herd. Found her out on the trail one afternoon in a regional park where she had been dumped. I was hiking and heard a soft meow, looked up, and this cat was trotting toward me on the trail. Came right up to me and asked me to take her with me. She was absolutely skin and bones. I tucked her in my jacket and called my friend and we took her straight away to the vet to get her checked out, tested, flea tx, etc. Went through quarantine at my house and has been part of the herd ever since. I really love the contrast of the black against white.

This is what she looked like the afternoon she found me. You can see how thin she was. (at the vet). Note the plantar stance.
