glad he is feeling better! Its the perfect day for a snuggle session.
Oh, Nic! You stud!
I think it’s more like Tortie the Cougar.
no pictures here but a little tale, or tale of my newest cat, Tater, or shorttail. He has been quite nervous and timid for the entire time I have had him, but he is getting friendlier and has decided his favorite nesting spot is on my shoulder. Today, I had him happily snoozing on my shoulder when I opened a Pettermint Patty. He snapped his head up violently and I swear he scowled at it so I put it down. I picked it up a few minutes later and he decided it was a good time to vacate the premises!
Well, now we know what would work as a deterrent for him.
Felix taunting the puppy. She wanted the bone. . He’s pretty tolerant, but has swatted enough that Poppy has a little respect
This little kitty loves attention

Gracie emulating Queen Victoria on a late Victorian bed. It belonged to my father’s mother’s parents.
My mom said the first time she saw the bed, she blurted out “no wonder they had so many children!” Mom was a bit spicy on the topic of her in-laws. It’s a short double and my GGF was a tall man for the time, late 19th century. They had 6 kids which wasn’t that many back then.
Five cats and four paper grocery bags!
I didn’t get a picture of it but the Kittens With Mittens and socks were tag teaming poor Johnny!
You obviously need to go back to the store and do some more shopping
I have reusable bags and asked the cashier for paper bags for my cats to play in. Now I get them at no extra charge whenever I ask.
Johnny looks so happy in his bag, he doesn’t see the scheming, devil face on Bird sitting behind him. This was just before Dizzy jumped on the front of the bag then Bird jumped on the back end. Poor Johnny was stuck under almost 40lbs of tag team brothers.
DH is upset tonight because our doorbell camera recorded a stray cat catching a mouse in the carport. We’ve been putting out food for either 2 or 3 feral black cats, and the little field mice have discovered the cat food, too. So DH feels like it’s our fault that the mouse got eaten.
On the 2 or 3 black cats: they are all large, glossy, healthy looking critters. One has a fluffy tail, and we haven’t decided if the other 2 are the same cat. One is a tomcat with massive jowls and a beautiful singing voice. I think one has green eyes, while the tomcat has yellow eyes, but I’m not sure. Would like to TNR these cats, but they are super skittish.
Might be worth trying the Livetrap Bait & Switch
Put food in unset trap until they get comfortable eating in the trap.
Then set the trap.
Lol, they both look like they just woke up and are saying, “Huh?”
I love Clem’s face markings, her right side looks like Groucho Marks.
Do you know what her breed cross is? Her tail looks a bit like tabby stripes but no classic tabby “M” on the forehead.
