Hansel and Gretel hated “that animal” that showed up and Gretel keeps trying to fight with her. So Gretel remains sleeping in the barn and Little Missy sleeps on my bed under the covers. I guess Gretel showed her.

That is how I ended up having to drive about 30 miles one night to pick up my barn cat at my farrier’s house after she quietly hitched a ride in his truck.
Yep, I have to check the front and back seats every day before I leave the barn. He makes himself quite comfortable.
what a pretty boy! I love this markings - and so very clever too! he knows where the best nap spots are LOL!
Bob has such a kind face.
Gorgeous cat!
The cars not bad either!
These two are bff’s. The round bed was supposed to be for the cat, but the Beagle firmly believes in “if it (barely) fits…”
I love Kitty’s black toes…
I was just thinking that’s great car! I haven’t seen wing windows in 30 years.
Bob doing weird Bob-things, as usual. He’s such a character—for example, his zoomies only last about 5-10 feet, although he does jump straight up in the air before taking off for his (very short) run.
He looks like such a sweetheart!
Well, update here.
I checked the cat’s belly again to look for a spay tattoo and while doing so, found some plumbing that I hadn’t noticed before. That’s right. Cat is not a ‘she’ and possibly pregnant but a ‘he’ and lacking his ‘parts.’ So, a boy and neutered.
I’ve been keeping him inside (but he’s escaped once) and have posted him on a Lost and Found Facebook page for pets in my city. So far, nothing.
I’ve been calling him Norman for Hannah Swensen’s (Alison Sweeny, Hallmark Mysteries channel) “wingman.” I like him better than her love interest, Mike, although I think they have introduced a New Man. A friend told me that in the books, Norman eventually turned out to be a murderer himself, but I don’t think Hallmark Mysteries will do that.
But I digress.
Norman is only the second of the cats here (now, 7) that will climb in my lap and hang out with me. Don’t get me wrong; my cats are affectionate, and one sleeps on my pillow, and if I turn onto my back at night, another will sleep on my chest until I wake up or turn on my side. Norman has chosen Cougar-Kitten as his playmate which surprises me. Although C-K is the youngest, she hasn’t made an effort to play with the other cats here. C-K and Norman will wrestle like crazy. Lots of noise but not a scratch on either one. They, also, play Tag. I’ve seen one chase another into my bedroom, and then come out, with the positions changed.
I will have to do flyers with a picture and leave them in neighbors’ doors. If Norman were MY cat, I would be missing him like crazy.
So, that’s the latest.
hopefully Norman turns up! I am sure C-K wants her playmate back.
So, after putting up the vertical anti-kitty/bird “spikes” to discourage Lucy from ascending to the top of the rail, only to find that she successfully met the challenge and strolled along the top (see pictures up-thread)…….
So, I went to “Plan B” of putting up some horizontal “spikes” to prevent her from getting on top….
Well, that was no challenge to this little girl……
Back to the drawing board……
You just made it more interesting!
I’m pretty sure this kitty could solve a rubix cube if she wanted too…
