Does anyone know why several riders are wearing military uniforms for dressage? I know dressage has military roots, but are those riders actually IN the military? I’m thinking not just anyone can throw on a military uniform?
Yes they are in the military. See it a lot with south American countries and smaller European countries although I believe there has been an Italian rider who wore their uniform. I believe coth has a blogger who has shown in her air force uniform.

I think Lucinda said today that several European countries stay in the military so their riding costs are less. Maybe the military owns the horses? That would make for an interesting side story for coth or EN.

Lucinda talking about the age of some of the horses. Five of them are only nine years old.
Julia Kraweski (sorry spelling may be wrong) put in a beautiful test.
I love the commentary - she won Olympics in Tokyo on this horse, which was her 2nd choice horse as the first choice horse had an injury. and that was after Chipmunk was moved to M Jung.
so she essentially won Olympic gold on what was her 3rd best horse.

I love Lucinda, but I am not loving her commentary. I prefer having a dressage judge in the second seat. Dressage was always her worst score. If wishes were horses, We would have Marilyn Payne or Carl Hester doing the commentary.

Are team standings posted anywhere? The only live scoring I see is for individual standings.
Just FYI the Horsetelex blood percentage isn’t always the most accurate… they don’t go back as many generations and it varies from horse to horse with how complete the pedigree is generationally in their database. I spent the week filling in a lot of gaps in pedigrees as I was building my deep dive spreadsheet, so at least some are more complete/accurate, but there are other things Horsetelex won’t let me edit.

Such a shame about Tami. It only hurts a little less that Toledo did the same thing and he was as unlikely to do that as Mai Baum
