Ahhhh. I can perhaps see the VPN creating problems. Do you also use one when posting from your mobile device, though (when not on broadband?)
An interesting test might be to create a new account, post ONLY non-VPN and see what happens. Something deep in the system might have flagged your current account for VPN posting?
Just guessing, though.
I’m with Simkie… could be a factor since I suspect most of us don’t connect via VPN.
FWIW, sometimes asking the same ol’ same ol’ repetitive questions yields a nugget of interesting and potentially relevant info 
(Which, for at least me, is why I might ask the same thing over more than once, never know when you’re gonna get lucky with that gem ).
The challenge here is figuring out what is different between those that aren’t having problems and those that are and not always obvious :encouragement:
VPN is not on the phone, I’ll keep it off on the computer for awhile but if I’m not mistaken the unapproved posts was happening before we got the VPN. So I’m not sure it is 100% of the problem
Back to unapproved, so all my posts unfortunately are only being seen by the moderator. This is so old, I’m just about over this forum.
Can anyone suggest other horse forums that are as good and diverse as COTH.
Back to unapproved. I am beyond fed up with being the only one having continuous problems and no one being able to figure out what is causing it.
I get how frustrating this could be. It is just as frustrating to have one user with a problem and try to figure out what is different between the user with the problem and the rest of the users who aren’t reporting a problem.
Been there, done that in software customer support for a number of years. It is frustrating on both sides. I know this doesn’t help but sometimes, it takes patience and persistence to figure out why yours doesn’t work.
Did you create a new “test” user to see if the problem exists for that new user?
I don’t see how creating a new user name will make any difference. Everything has been deleted out of my profile as it is. If I create a new user it will still be with the same network, IP address etc (if that is the issue).
appears to be very random for me but usually it is a post where I have a web link included … even benign sites can result in an unapproved post

Has nothing to do with web links, most all of mine do not have any link or picture or anything other than just words I’ve typed.

That would be a YES, “unapproved” is still what happens to all my posts.
Well, went an entire week + before getting unapproved again.
Moderator - the password tab is no longer in my profile, whether on a desktop or tablet. Something is broke in my profile.
I might be able to help with that. Password hasn’t been in the user settings part of the board since the change over. It’s now waaaaaay up in the upper left hand corner. You’ll see your name, in red. Click there. You can only access it from the desktop, IIRC, and not on a mobile device.
