I ride mustangs. Very creative. Yes, I have no imagination.
I seem to be getting dumped frequently by greenies lately, and every time, someone thinks its clever to say, “you ate dirt, huh?”.
I’ll have to ask my Mom… Creativity isn’t my strong suit obviously!
I met a guy while I was working in a tack shop who had adopted a mustang mare, Sally, that unexpectedly foaled in a boarding barn. I picked the mare and foal up and took them home, and named the little dun colt Clint, after Clint Eastwood from “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”, as that pretty much described him.
That’s funny…My son is V squared…my daughter…Vsquared the second!!
We have the same problem with my daughters monogram…we just use the single V on her chokers
My horses show name.
my first cat (killer cat) and my horse
Bugsy & Skeeter are my two horses. Bugsy, AKA Awesome Lena, is my reining mare and Skeeter, AKA Little Lena Skeet, is my cutting mare.
boring, but
The new boy I’m leasing (grey TB)'s soon to be registered name is Absolut Vanilla Ice (what makes you think I’m a college student?!?) I just shortened it to Absolut Vanilla…
Well I ride Hunter/Jumper style and my horse’s name is Gin. Original eh?
I’ve had mine for ages and can’t imagine anything else.
Snbess
S=my first initial
n= short for “and”
Bess= my love of my life mare
Sandra
Another vote for the unoriginal clique. I lurked for a bit and noted that a number of people used their horses’ names. My boy is Harlequin but when I went to register I found it was already taken. I usually call him Quin so that’s what I tried next and it took.
DISCLAIMER: I then discovered there is an active poster here on the BB who goes by Quinn! I did contact her and offer to change my screen name, but she graciously encourged me to keep this one. I don’t suppose anyone will confuse us; I’m just a newbie to the BB with a green horse riding local shows in the Midwest. Having a ball, though, both with the horse and the COTHers. :lol:
I love the Yardbirds, hence, Dazed and Confused.
And just about describes my state of mind half the time :lol:
How Bout No came from the movie Austin Power and was on TV when I made the new BB name
My trainer’s nickname for me is ‘flogarty’, as my last name is fogarty. I’ve grown quite attached to it, although sometimes she calls me ‘flogs’. :lol:
Ponyfinals because I ride in the pony and mini-medals and hope to go to ponyfinals!
My name came about because of all the different barns and trainers we have been with over the years. Due to the nature of this business/sport I have always felt “Lost in Space”, just out there floating around with no direction or guidance.
I have a question, what is the deal with the Aefvue Farms title? I know I’m missing something, but not sure what it is.
I can’t think of anything better. I sat at the computer forever trying out all sorts of names. Mostly lame things like, “MoTitan,” “TitanMo,” “Seamus” and all sort of other boring things using my horses names. Finally, in frustration, I gave up and went with Wild Oaks Farm because it is also my email address and one less thing for me to remember! I am glad to see other people are more creative!
