So you are saying that you would leave the home that you lived in for quite a few years before said “tenant” moved in? That is probably one of the stupidest things I have ever heard and I seriously doubt that you actually would leave your home, your business and your significant other. Moving into the barn was the way that MH and MB tried to seperate from the situation as much as possible without abandoning their property, business, clients and horses!
Being aware of someone’s “shenanigans” is a little bit different since LK had never escalated to this point with anyone else in the past. She had not called CPS on anyone, reported anyone to safe sport, or had someone’s home condemmed. The next person that takes her on and has problems will have zero excuse because all of this information is out there now!
And why does it matter what eggbutt or anyone else knows? Are you jealous that others might know more than you? There is information that cannot and WILL NOT be shared on a public forum, sorry if that gets your panties in a twist!

According to MH’s Facebook she moved their early 2018. So yes I’d move for the safety of my children. I’d move regardless of the time.
Am I jealous??? Lol. No. Not remotely. Just wondering when anyone in this situation might post with a shred of honesty.

How so?
If someone with a disagreement goes so far as to involve third parties by calling immigration and child protection services out of spite, that sounds like it would cause a lot of suffering, whether it happened in a week or a month or a year.

MH moved before 2018, were you stalking her page, something that I believe you have condemmed others for doing? Oh and I think you mean moved THERE. I don’t think you would recognize honesty if it was shoved in your face.
Calling others trolls because you don’t like their way of thinking is childish and just stupid. I am giving you permission to have the last word in this discussion because that seems to be your end goal and most important to you, so have at it!

I was curious about the players. Regardless of the time I’d protect my hypothetical kids. I never called someone a troll. I’m just shocked at the double standard in this case.

Not to mention her posting she feared a 6’3" man… but refused to move. Tenant or not, fearing your own safety suggests you should find a safer location.
Like some have suggested MH should have done for her kids. Goose/gander.
So if one suggests MH should have left, one must recognize LK had the same option as a course of action and hold her in the same contempt for not doing so. Maybe more so considering her admission, on Facebook, to being in fear, and having received offers to move her horses and having plenty of green to afford it.
MH was also running a business there, while LK was barely an unwelcome guest, so I’d say the wealthy, non paying guest in fear for her own safety might have been smart to vamanos and had an easier time of it.

I’m pretty sure literally everyone thinks LK should have left. Not a single person has actually defended her behaviour in any way, have they? However that’s still a large leap to blaming her 100% for the fact MB pulled the trigger.

Yeah I gotta say, I can’t say the fault all lies on LK. I think everyone involved played a part, even LE. It was kind of just a sh**storm that built until it burst. No one really took it seriously until it became serious.

I am not jealous of any supposed super secret info that might or might not be dangled in front of us - GASP - or the repeated little games some are playing in this thread. Well if you are not concerned about what others may or may not know, why do you keep making a point of calling others out?
Knowing things others may not know is not something special in this case.
I think a lot of people may be forgetting how very many people’s lives have been negatively affected by this situation and LK. So many clients of MB’s, some whom have been with him from the very beginning have lost their trainer and friend; working students and employees have lost homes and jobs and family; farriers and feed stores and vets have lost long time clients. MB has been at this farm and in the horse community for well over twenty years, and nothing has ever happened like this. LK has been in the community for a much shorter time and has an array of people sharing their negative experiences with her.
If you and others on this thread were not so quick to attack others for their feelings that do not align with yours, maybe a discusion could be had, but calling people trolls and liars among other things just really does not make for a good start to a discussion!
LK caused the problems that went on at the farm. MB pleaded for help many times. The ONLY 911 call from LK before the shooting was because “she was afraid of a driver of a black suv that pulled into the farm at night”. That call was made almost 12 hours after she said the SUV was at the farm. That does not sound like someone that was truly afraid.
Did MB did pull the trigger? Possibly, but WE DO NOT KNOW for certain. Did he drive the 1/10 of a mile to the house, yes, but since the driveway past the house is the only way in and out of the farm, he possibly could have been going to meet his lawyer to file more paperwork against her, and while going past the house LK and RG tried to stop him. The truth is there are many scenarios that could have happened and we just do not know which one is the truth.
MB was beat to hell, his face was very swollen during the bail hearing, his arm seriously broken. RG’s arm was not broken like reported. Eyewitnesses that saw him the day after the shooting saw nothing on his arm, it was sloppily wrapped at the bail hearing, but 3 weeks after the shooting there was nothing on his arm, nor any visible scars.
LK’s many recounts of what happened do not match RG’s nor do they match each other.
There are no bushes to hide in like in one recount. MB did not sneak down there. A dually on a gravel driveway when you sleep on your porch every day, would be heard.
LK and RG are just not credible witnesses to anything, let alone in this scenario when they very clearly had ulterior motives!

Welp. No point in continuing the conversation here. Nancy Grace has solved the case. Barisone’s defense is that “he shot her because she was a squatter” and it will be an open-and-shut conviction. Guess we can stop squabbling now. (/s)

Despicable. Attacking the vulnerable is the lowest of the low. Someone who lost a child; an immigrant in the current climate in the US; a couple running a farm while being Pakistani. Racist garbage. Dithering about what happened on August 8th is one thing, but I’ve got ZERO time for this kind of BS.
