I don’t know what time allowed is, and I haven’t seen enough rounds to get a feel for where she is on course, but it looks like Karen is having a tremendous go.
ETA for those not watching 5.6 penalties for being over time. Now someone’s going to have to tell me if that’s any good. :lol:

Medicott pings of the ground, huge stride – up on clock - Karen dead on the corner in the woods, annoucners give her accolades – no question she is the GREATEST cross country lady rider in America!!! Wow
Over time 4. some penalties, just a bit slow at the end, started out with a will the announcers said so bit of a surprise but well ridden, karen! outstanding round, beautifully ridden, tremendous – I just can’t say how impressed I am with the way she rode this horse! We should be proud of her, no matter the time penalties. It was outstanding. JMO
Wow! KOC did fantastic! I have to say I am surprised they looked so much better and SO much more in control than at Rolex. Good on her!!!
How on earth did Karen and Mr. M not make time? They were flying!
The slipping and the pocking is making me really wonder what that footing is going to look like in places by the end of the day.

Me too, he looked like he was cruising very effortlessly at somewhere near the speed of light except when she had to get him back. Wonderful!
KOC and Mr. M reminded me a lot of Pippa and Primmore’s Pride at Athens!! Lots of gallop, big, bold jumper, on a twisty course. Karen got her workout! But made it look pretty smooth…she obviously knows when to pick her battles and when to let him roll.
