Slight detour into puppy pix.
I took them for a nice poop/exercise walk around the (badly needing to be mowed!) field. I’m heading out to the store in a bit and will check to see if anyone is home where they live.

WWow! Someone else here who remembers Longacres! The backside there was heaven on Earth.
One of the Owners was a friend of my boss. Saw him on the regular and often got free passes. The loss of the track was truly sad.

I confess… I’ve been resisting the name that came to me. Surely I could come up with something more… masculine? 
But I’m giving in. I talked to him about it last night and he doesn’t care about being “manly”.
So, we’re calling him Peach. Peachy. Peaches. He’s so sweet, it fits.

I dropped them off yesterday for a foster situation with the people who identified the owner. They are better set up and have big dog runs to hold them in while working to get in touch with the owner. Apparently they already had to deal with these pups once before, and it was kind of a process to get the guy to respond.
