Just imagine, for a moment, moving into someone’s property and progressively driving them, their family and associates so crazy with your behaviour that you eventually get shot - and then thinking you’re the winner in the situation.

This sounds like an intro to an episode of “The Twilight Zone”. I’m sure MB felt that he had fallen into one.

You come off as a character out of Fatal Attraction with your great involvement in MB’s personal affairs.

Fact: It was his property and you were asked to leave and you were provided transportation to move your horses. Yet you chose to stay and continue escalating the situation.

Fact: you called SS and made a false report about child abuse to them and SS called CPS because of your fake statement to them. Once you reported child abuse to them, they had no choice but to call authorities.

Fact: You post on your FB page that you’ve given plenty of sound and video recordings to a FB friend you’ve probably never met who hangs on your every post like a lovesick calf. You both laugh and joke about what’s on those recordings. (First of all, it’s insane to be carrying on conversations such as that publically rather than using PM’s.) Why have you given evidence to a completely innocent person? To involve them down the road in some sort of legal action? The giddy joy in the tone of your FB posts is very strange, to say the least.

So many people have been praying for your healing and ability to move on but you have become stuck in time, which can be understood. An option would be to buck up, heal, grow strong and prove all your naysayers wrong in a dressage court internationally. Instead of being so grateful for a second chance in life, your bitterness will be your downfall.

In some states ANY adult who notes possible abuse are mandated reporters. So, if that is the case in NJ (I don’t know), didn’t Lauren fail her legal and moral duty to the kids?

NJ is a mandatory reporting state - meaning anyone who suspects child abuse can report it.

She was married previously and the ex-in-laws took out a restraining order? Well, that’s right out of a tv show. Marriage certificates and divorce filings are public record. Could be useful to the defense.

I doubt Lauren is smart or sober enough to come up with that gambit on her own. I bet she was coached by someone with legal training.

I do not believe she reported this to SS out of a genuine concern for the kids, but a way to harass Barisone still further.

Further, to the accusation of whoever you quoted, the empty barn is not part of the property we did legally have NJ law “tenants,” rights to had been living in. Therefore, unless the cats had come to the house, we would be trespassing in going to an empty barn to tend the left behind cats. We are no longer at the apartment, since it’s Wellington season now. There have never been eviction proceedings. If you actually listen to the 911 calls - the word “squatters,” is never mentioned. Seeing as though 911 was called 6 times, SIX- MB had every opportunity to refer us as “squatters.” Yet… he does not.

To be clear, MB never ever asked us to leave. You’ll notice in the 911 calls … MB began by stating we were at the barn at 9pm. He claims we weren’t supposed to be at the barn past 9pm. (We specifically, WERE supposed to be there then.) He’s clearly fishing. Makes no mention of “people living in the house who weren’t supposed to be there.” Bc… he knew that was lie.

ETA: I believe what the evidence says… he pulled a gun and you were shot and your boyfriend was shot at. Clearly he’s in the wrong and deserves some hard time for that. Unless they can produce a gun you had pointed at and threatened him with, there’s no questioning that. I think she denies that he called her squatters and that he told them to leave because once they are told to leave they were obligated to leave, and if they didn’t they would become criminal tresspassers, and staying around filming the landlord and harrassing him and his family and coming into the barn at night where his family lives, and taking pictures of him when he is calling 911 would be part of that criminal tresspass.

However, I don’t think they were squatters, but likely holdover tenants. Holdover tenants are in the property after their leases expired. If they had a month to month lease, and it was oral, and not written, whatever the arrangement was, they are month to month tenants, and can be evicted by the landlord at any time. Once they are told to leave, if they remain, they become criminal tresspassers. If, say, they were there not paying rent and instead, for example, paying rent in kind like doing house maintenance or carpentry work (which may be why their arrangement went south, if the boyfriend’s work was, for example, shoddy and MB asked for rent money, and they refused to give it to him or something) they are month to month tenants, and the landlord can evict them at any time. Problem is, he has to do it legally, which he may have been trying to do, but should have through the courts and sherriff not the police. The whole thing may have been a mess, but still I have no doubt whatsoever that he DID ask them to leave.

Exactly this. She played a game of poke that bear… poke it harder… poke it til it’s miserable… poke it til there’s a bigger reaction. She got a reaction. I don’t think she sees how her own actions precipitated the escalation, and will probably continue this behavior until it ends badly. The cops were called what? 4 times by MB and once by LK BEFORE this happened? How many red flags do you need before you get out, or at least STOP messing with the angry bear? She’ll walk away from this thinking it IS a win because he’s going to prison. His reaction, which of course he is responsible for and should be punished for, has wrecked his life, his families lives, and could have ENDED hers and/or her boyfriend’s. Would you walk away feeling like a winner if one of you were permanently disabled or dead?

I had an altercation in a parking lot, a guy going ballistic over how I was parked in a pharmacy spot (which is where I was going but also needed one item on my way)… long story short, I had my nieces with me. I could have said a whole lot of things, but I had no idea what his level of crazy or propensity for violence was. I walked straight to the management office, requested an escort to the pharmacy and said nothing to the crazy person. It’s always better to back away from crazy and live another day than to try to “win.” You can’t beat crazy.

OMG THIS YESSS!!! My hubs has terrible road rage, once before my daughter was born, we were on the highway he got pissed ab a trucker and cut him off n then slammed down to 50mph from about 80!!! The trucker had to slam, squeal and smoke his brakes, and my son was the in car!!! I screamed bloody effing murder at him and then the next time we were around my mil I made sure she knew about her sons amazing life choice. Luckily after that it has calmed down to honked horns and cussing in the car.

You never know in this world who is crazy, on pills, meth, who knows what, or is armed and it is NOT worth the risk just to prove youre right or get your way!!!

No, “stalk” is not exactly the right word. You now provide morbid entertainment with your rants and middle school games on social media. Hopefully, the barn owners and your new trainer have insisted on an ironclad contract from you before they accepted the task of taking you on. You’ve definitely built a reputation to live up to on and off the dressage ring.

It is you who continue to bring MH and his wife up at convenient intervals. No one but you cares about either of them as far as their role in this incident and what YOU did to push people over the edge. Of course there was a time when all this acrimony wasn’t happening, and they both were on good terms. Then, what I think happened, was that LK got hot for teach, but he wouldn’t bite. He didn’t want LK that way, and wanted to stay with his GF. So she felt rejected, and the rest is history…

Logical deduction. If Lauren isn’t lying, she didn’t call CPS. By her own admission, she called SS about the kids. They (unlike Lauren) actually take the welfare of kids seriously, as well as having a legal obligation to do so. Lauren also had a responsibility to call CPS if she truly was concerned, but Lauren chose not to do so - even anonymously. Lauren misused SS and CPS in her misguided quest. Whatever her goal was, it wasn’t to get shot.

Funny how she was turning down offers of places to take her horses, dogs and herself but she was scared of MB. Not enough to leave with her animals.
